We will talk you through the valuation process and can help advise you on a suitable Guide and Reserve Price.

We will submit your details to create an online auction listing specifically tailored to your property wishes.

We will conduct a targeted marketing campaign and attract buyers to register interest in your property.

Our 10 Steps to Selling at Auction

1. Start the process by getting in touch

• If you are thinking about how to sell your home or other property, then selling through us at online property auction can provide you with a fast, efficient and more cost-effective way to sell. Get in touch, and we will arrange an informal consult to help you decide the best way forward.

2. Consultation

• A informal discovery chat with a member of our Belmont Property Auctions team to find out more information about you, your property, your circumstances and requirements – in order for us to personalise our advice and best help you.

3. Valuation

• We will provide a free property appraisal, to recommend a suitable Guide Price, Reserve Price and the best method of sale for you. There is no obligation, thereafter, although should you decide to sell in the near future, we hope you would consider Belmont Property Auctions as you chosen local agent.

4. Instructions

• With agreements on a suitable guide price and reserve for your property, we will provide written confirmation and official client instructions. We will then be able to start to prepare all the relevant documentation required to sell your property. Once prepared, your property will be added to our future auctions.

5. Auction Legal Pack

• We will work directly with your solicitor to prepare a auction legal pack which will contain any special conditions, title documents, etc. This legal pack will be available on request for interested parties (and their solicitors).

6. Your Approval

• We will populate the property details, produce particulars and marketing materials prepared for your approval. Once approved, this information will be used to create listings on our online property auction website and the UK’s leading property portals (such as Rightmove and Zoopla).

7. Marketing

• Once your property listing is published, it will be ready for public viewing on our website and the UK’s leading property search portals (such as Rightmove and Zoopla). We will also send it to our subscribers, approved to bid members and any interested parties for viewing by email marketing, social media and more.

8. Viewings

• On your behalf, we will arrange and conduct viewings, allowing all interested parties to view your property and ask additional questions.

• Before the auction period starts, there is still time for potential buyers to make offers, which we will report to you. Any offers will always be at your discretion on whether you want to consider and accept such an offer or proceed to the auction.

10. Completion

• Upon success at the online auction, your solicitors will be ready to handle the remainder of the sales process. Completion will typically take place within 28 days after exchange of contracts, as this is the point when the sale becomes legally binding. We will take care of you by providing our aftercare sales process to ensure you’re happy and everything is in order.
